Growing up in the United Kingdom, Lisa has always had a passion for wildlife. At just fourteen years old she found her self working at a local aquarium, where she spent her weekends educating hundreds of guests about local marine life. This positon kick-started her twelve year career in eco-tourism that took her across the province and around the world. While living on Vancouver Island and after the birth of her young daughter, Lisa finally decided to combine her enthusiasm for wildlife with her passion for the arts, and founded Isla Life Designs. Lisa loves how art can create connections between people and the world that surrounds them. She believes that the closer us humans all feel to nature, the more likely we will strive to protect it.
