Introducing Our New Artist Canvas Collection
At Canvas Plus Digital Imaging, we understand that a painting begins long before the first brushstroke. The quality of the surface shapes the way paint moves, grips, and ultimately lives on the canvas. That’s why we’re proud to introduce three new blank artist canvases: Studio, Gallery, and Professional — each crafted to support a different style of artistic expression.

Studio – Smooth Control
Our Studio canvas is a 380gsm 100% cotton canvas with a fine, consistent weave. It offers a smooth, responsive surface that allows for precise brushwork, detailed layering, and controlled glazing. Ideal for acrylic and oil painters who prefer refined texture without heavy tooth, Studio provides an excellent balance of structure and subtlety for everyday creative work.

Gallery – Classic Character
Gallery is also 380gsm 100% cotton, but with a slightly coarser weave and more substantial feel. The enhanced texture gives paint something to grab onto, making it perfect for expressive strokes, palette knife work, and bold compositions. If you love the traditional look and tactile quality of canvas, Gallery delivers that timeless studio experience.

Professional – Premium Heritage Surface
Our Professional canvas is a 400gsm cotton/linen blend with a very fine weave. The addition of linen increases strength and long-term stability, while maintaining a beautifully refined painting surface. Designed for serious artists, exhibitions, and commission work, Professional offers exceptional durability and a distinguished, archival feel.

All three canvases are expertly stretched and built to remain tight and stable over time. Whether you’re developing new work in the studio or preparing pieces for exhibition, you can choose the surface that best supports your creative voice.
Our stretcher bars come in two thicknesses. 3/4" thick bars provide a lower profile of the canvas print on the wall. They are commonly used for smaller canvas prints. 1.5" thick bars are the choice for most of the canvas prints we frame, and are highly recommended for large prints.
After each wood frame is assembled, our artist canvases are professionally stretched with meticulous care and are packed to arrive safely.
